1. About Study Timer
Study Timer – Focus & Habits is an Android application developed and maintained by Kroma Digital. It is designed to help users manage study sessions, focus time, reminders, and study habits.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use the app, including information that may be processed by third-party services used by the app.
2. Account Registration
Study Timer does not require users to create an account or directly provide a name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment-card information in order to use its core features.
3. Local App Data
Study Timer may store study settings, timer information, alarm or reminder settings, study status, parent PIN information, preferences, and related app data locally on the user's device.
Kroma Digital does not operate a server for collecting or storing this locally saved Study Timer data.
Deleting the app or clearing its application data may remove locally stored information.
4. Advertising
Study Timer uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and may display banner and interstitial advertisements.
Google and its advertising services may process certain technical information as necessary to provide, secure, measure, and improve advertising services. Depending on the SDK configuration, device settings, region, consent choices, and applicable platform requirements, this information may include:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language, and app version;
- advertising identifiers, SDK instance identifiers, publisher first-party identifiers, or similar identifiers, where permitted and applicable;
- information about interactions with the app or advertisements; and
- diagnostic and performance information.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on the user's region, age-related treatment, consent choices, device settings, and the app's advertising configuration.
Kroma Digital does not sell users' personal information.
5. Notifications, Alarms, and Reminders
Study Timer may request Android permissions needed to provide notifications, alarms, timers, or reminders. On supported Android versions, users can control notification permissions through device settings.
Where the app uses device boot events or alarm-related Android functionality, these are used to support or restore enabled timer, alarm, or reminder features.
6. Network Access and Location
Study Timer may use internet and network-state access primarily to support advertising and related online services.
The app does not require precise GPS location for its current core study-timer features. Google advertising services may use an IP address or other permitted signals to estimate a general region.
7. Third-Party Services
Study Timer uses services provided by Google, including:
- Google AdMob;
- Google Mobile Ads SDK; and
- Google Play services and Android platform services as applicable.
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable settings.

Kroma Digital does not sell users' personal information.

9. Data Retention
Data stored locally by Study Timer generally remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, cleared through application data controls, or removed when the app is uninstalled, depending on Android device and operating system behavior.
Information processed independently by Google or other platform services is subject to the retention practices of those service providers.
10. Security
Kroma Digital takes reasonable measures to minimize unnecessary collection of information and to limit the app's handling of personal information.
However, no electronic system, device, or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children's Privacy
Study Timer may be used by students and younger users. The app does not require a user to create an online account or directly submit a name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, photographs, contacts, or payment-card details to Kroma Digital in order to use its core timer features.
Where the app is directed to or made available to children, advertising and third-party services must be configured in accordance with applicable child-directed requirements, Google Play policies, Google advertising policies, and legal obligations. Interest-based advertising must not be used for users known to be under the applicable child-directed age threshold where prohibited.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to review the app and its Google Play listing before allowing a child to use it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Study Timer's features, advertising, SDKs, permissions, storage, data practices, or applicable legal and platform requirements change.
